Coating and painting lines established in Indonesia.

1995

Cold rolling mill, coating and painting lines commissioned in Thailand.

Coating and painting lines launched in Malaysia.

Steelscape Kalama facility commissioned 🇺🇸

Smartruss® system introduced in Lysaght.

BlueScope listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) following demerger from BHP.

2004

Acquisition of Butler Manufacturing, expanding into pre-engineered buildings globally.

2005

Vietnam’s first metal coating and painting line commissioned.

Second coating and painting line opens in Thailand.

Probuilt® framing system introduced in Lysaght.

Ranbuild® brand introduced in ASEAN.

Second metallic coating line commissioned in Indonesia.

Joint venture formed between BlueScope and Nippon Steel (NSSMC), creating NS BlueScope.
